I seem to be forgetting a lot lately! The other day I got up from the couch to do something, but couldn't remember what it was. I thought it had something to do with getting something out of the car, but what? I grabbed my keys and went to the car thinking that if I looked in it, something would jar my memory. I was going crazy trying to figure it out! When I jumped up from the couch to do whatever it was I was going to do I was on a on a mission to do it. What could it have been? I decided to go sit back on the couch to see if I could remember what it was I forgot. As soon as I sat down I remembered. I didn't need anything out of the car. I got up to go brush my teeth!
Speaking of forgetting things lately. Someone tried to tell me the other day that Jimmy Buffet doesn't sing "Brown Eyed Girl." I'm pretty sure he does. So whoever you are that told me otherwise, "fess up."
Man do I feel stupid if Jimmy Buffet doesn't sing that.

First time for everything
As I am trying to get my thoughts down I realized something. That is the title of my post. You see this is my very first post about what I will be doing for the very first time next month.
This past week we (Pip's Laundry) will be flying up to Alabama for a weekend show. Not only am I excited about performing but i am also excited about the fact that I will be flying for the first time in my 29 years of life.
Now i understand that for some people that might not seem like a big deal but flying has been on my Life's To Do List for as long as I can remember. Up until four years ago, I had 3 things on my list. They were 1. See and Play in Snow 2. Fly somewhere 3. Get married. Now that i've accomplished the first thing on my list, things look pretty good for me to mark off the 2nd thing on my list. That excites me...

Things that make you go mmmmmm....
So I just visited the new Dagwood's Sandwich Shop here in Palm Harbor. What a tasty surprise. People had been telling me how good it was for months, but I have been a bit skeptical - sticking with the old standbyes of Subway and more recently Quizno's. Well step aside skepticism, I had what turned out to be one of the better pressed cuban sandwiches I've ever tasted. Now, I am not Cuban - nor am I of Hispanic descent of any kind, so of course I cannot be considered an ultimate authority - but I thought it was pretty darn good. And I was fairly impressed with restaurant as a whole. I do reccommend that you check it out.
After my trip to Dagwood's however it was time to head to the gym. I hadn't been since before the holidays (usually I don't use the word holidays - I explain which holiday I am referring to, especially if it is/was Christmas - but in this case I hadn't been to the gym since before all of the holidays - New Year's, Christmas, Hanukah, Thanksgiving, maybe even Veteran's Day). So anyway, I went to workout for a while. Again, something that I reccommend - especially after eating what was easily 400 calories of sandwich @ Dagwood's. I am trying to get better about going to the gym. I have found that just having the membership hasn't actually made me lose any weight, so I better give actually going a try. I worked out on the eliptical trainer for about half an hour and then ran into fellow Pip's Team member Brandon, and we talked shop and did crunches for another 20 minutes or so. It was good, but I need to make sure that I keep it up. I need to get in shape again. Well, gotta run for not. But I will stop by again soon, until then...
Keep it real, keep, it funky, and keep it really funky;
